Helping Veterans Today is a Nevada nonprofit Veteran Advocacy, Liaison and Service Group. We remember, support and honor all US Veterans.

One Time Events:

Veterans Sevice and Boy Scout Color Guard, New Life Assembly of God, 11000 Lemmon Drive, Reno, 10:00 AM Sunday May 20.

On-Going Events:

Veterans Food Drive at "Nevada Matters" live radio (99.1 FM), Reno Town Mall 4001 South Virginia 7AM to 8PM Monday through Friday, 8 to 5 Saturday and Sunday

Operation Feedback food distribution to veterans only at 6:30 on Tuesday night at 295 Gentry Way, Suite 19 (back north west corner of building), in Reno.

Our Mission:

Our mission is to raise awareness of the Veteran population, to help start a chapter of Operation Stand Down, and to work diligently and confidentially on the veteran's behalf, for personal development, basic skills and other training.

In our Article of Incorporation we state: Helping Veterans Today, a Non profit organization, is being organized for charitable purposes and advancement of education. Also this allows us to conducting public discussion groups, forums, panels, lectures, or other similar programs all defined under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code

What we do: We donate over 1000 Non Perishable Food items and ground coffee each year to Operation Feedback, and donate approximately 50% of our net each month to the local US Department of Veterans Affairs office.

What you can do: Bring your canned goods, your unwanted clothes and jackets or donate your time. Monetary funds and grants will also be accepted. We expect to accept Credit and Debit cards in the near future.
